Cancellations & changes.

Standard reservations

You can cancel or change your booking free of charge up to 1pm on the day of your reservation. Use the link in your confirmation email, reply to it, or send us an email at table@basementsate.com.

After 1pm on the day of the booking, we charge the £10 per guest pre-authorisation taken at the time of booking. The same applies to no-shows.

Group bookings (8+)

Tables of 8 or more are taken with a card on file. The same 1pm-on-the-day window applies, with a £15 per-guest charge for late cancellations or no-shows.

Private hire

Private hire is governed by the contract you sign at the time of booking. In short:

• Free changes until 30 days before
• 50% of minimum spend retained for cancellations 14–30 days before
• Full minimum spend retained inside 14 days

If something unexpected has happened, just call us, we'll do what we can.

Christmas & December bookings

December is our busiest month. From the 1st to the 31st, the cancellation window extends to 72 hours for tables and 21 days for private hire.
