Privacy & Cookies

How we look after your data.

We collect as little as possible, and only what we need to make the website work and the bookings happen.

The short version

We use a small number of cookies, strictly necessary cookies to make booking work, and a privacy-friendly analytics cookie to understand which pages people read. We don't sell your data, ever, full stop.

What we collect

  • Booking details, name, email, phone, party size, handled by DesignMyNight on our behalf.
  • Enquiry forms, the details you type into our private hire and group enquiry forms, collected by Tally and emailed to our events team.
  • Analytics, anonymous page-level usage via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (no IP storage, no cross-site tracking).

Cookies on this site

  • dmn_*, DesignMyNight booking widget, strictly necessary, session.
  • _ga / _ga_*, Google Analytics, anonymous, 13 months. You can opt out via your browser.
  • _clck / _clsk, Microsoft Clarity, anonymous session replay and heatmaps, up to 12 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show, correct, or delete any data we hold about you. Email table@basementsate.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Third parties

We use DesignMyNight for bookings, Tally for private hire and group enquiry forms, and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for anonymous analytics. Each one has its own privacy policy, we picked them because they take this seriously too.
